West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose by 0.96% to $61.21. Brent contracts increased by 0.95% to $66.25 per barrel. In the United States, analysts and traders estimated a production decline of up to two million barrels per day, or about 15% of national production, at the beginning of the week due to a winter storm that hit the country, putting pressure on energy infrastructure and power grids. On another front, Venezuela's Acting President Delcy Rodriguez predicted that oil investments will rise by 55% in 2026. Oil prices rose on Tuesday, fueled by a harsh winter storm that cut crude production and impacted refineries on the US Gulf Coast.
