Hundreds of Thousands Protest Against Trump's Policies in US and Europe

Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets of the United States and Europe this Saturday to express their opposition to the policies of President Donald Trump, promoted by the 'No Kings' movement, while hostilities in the Middle East continue and the image of the Republican leader continues to plummet. This was the third massive protest called by this movement, whose name refers to its slogan '50 states, 50 protests, 1 movement' and considers that the government's measures put American democracy at risk. The first march was held in July of last year, followed by another similar one in October. This Saturday's event was a massive gathering, with nearly nine million participants, which was repeated even in some European cities, with protesters complaining about what they consider to be Trump's authoritarian policies, parodying him with costumes and different slogans on both sides of the Atlantic. Major cities such as Minnesota, Boston, Washington, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle, Philadelphia, Miami and even Anchorage, Alaska, hosted hundreds of thousands of protesters, while similar scenes were seen in Spain, France, Italy, Great Britain and Germany. In New York, renowned actor Robert De Niro said today that he feels 'proud' to support the 'No Kings' movement and spoke out against President Trump at a press conference: 'I support this movement 150 percent'. Likewise, De Niro did not hide his displeasure and considered Trump 'an existential threat to our freedoms and security'. This is in addition to the high cost of living and the current administration's immigration policies. 'He must be stopped and he must be stopped now,' he added, 'it's time to say no to kings, it's time to say no to Donald Trump'. Meanwhile, Sarah Parker, coordinator of the 50501 movement, emphasized that 'the American people are furious' and 'are the ones driving these protests'.
