Seven members of a gang of robbers, specializing in home invasions of famous sports figures in the United States, were arrested. During the investigation, law enforcement agencies managed to find evidence of their criminal activities. Among the victims were several well-known sportsmen, whose homes were repeatedly targeted by burglars.
One of the gang members was detained last month after being caught at the scene of a crime. His testimony helped law enforcement agencies find other participants of the criminal group. According to them, they acted collectively and well-organized, selecting objects for burglary.
"These arrests are an important step in the fight against crime in our society. We hope that this will illustrate the guilty and prevent similar offenses in the future," said a representative of the local police.
