The company Tesla has unveiled its new electric icon - Model Y, belonging to the SUV category. The length of the vehicle is 4.79 meters. According to the American company, the new electric car Model Y attracts attention with its wide lighting strips at the front and rear, which were partially borrowed from its sibling - Cybertruck.
It is noted that Tesla has improved the aerodynamics of the body, as well as the rear spoiler and wheels, which contributed to increased energy efficiency; energy consumption decreased from 16 to 15 kWh per 100 km. In the interior of the vehicle, several improvements have also been made: the front seats have been redesigned and equipped with ventilation, and noise insulation has also been enhanced.
The price of the vehicle starts at $61,630 (approximately 226,000 dirhams). The range of the electric vehicle reaches 568 km according to the WLTP standard. The interior of the cabin traditionally features a classic mechanical steering wheel, while the rear part of the cabin is equipped with an 8-inch screen for climate control and entertainment, as well as the ability for the electric system to fold and adjust the rear seats.
In the new crossover Model Y, equipped with all-wheel drive, two electric motors are installed. The vehicle accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, and its maximum speed reaches 201 km/h.
