The agency of American transportation safety conducting the investigation reported earlier on Thursday that the black hawks were submerged underwater, but presumably, they could be recovered. According to a report from the Federal Aviation Administration, obtained by the Associated Press, the dispatch workers were not 'on duty' at the moment of the collision between the passenger plane of American Airlines and the military helicopter.
Official sources reported that the collision of the army helicopter and the American Airlines plane, arriving from Kansas, led to the deaths of all 67 people on board both transport vehicles.
