Authorities have confirmed that 28 bodies have been recovered from the crash involving a Black Hawk helicopter and an American Eagle commercial plane in Washington.

The chief of firefighters and emergency services of Washington, John Donnelly, has reported that they have recovered a total of 28 bodies from the plane crash that occurred the previous night. The tragic incident involved a military Black Hawk helicopter and a commercial American Eagle plane.

According to Donnelly, they have managed to rescue 27 people from the plane and one from the helicopter, but unfortunately, they do not believe there are any survivors. The recovery operation for bodies is still ongoing in the crash area.

"At this moment, we do not believe there are survivors," Donnelly stated when addressing the current situation. Authorities continue to investigate the causes of the accident and provide support to the families of the victims while trying to clarify what happened.
