Matthew Haverstick's lawyer, representing Elon Musk and the political action committee, has filed a request with the judge to stop the case and move it to federal court. Larry Krasner, a Democratic district attorney, filed a lawsuit on Monday to stop the America PAC raffle that has been scheduled to continue until election day and is aimed at registered voters in contested states who support a petition in favor of the Constitution.

Election law experts have questioned whether the raffle violates federal laws that prohibit paying people to vote. Musk has presented the money as a prize and also as earnings for being a spokesperson for the group. Krasner is considering the possibility of filing criminal charges due to concerns about illegal lotteries and interference with the integrity of elections.

In the lawsuit, Krasner has accused America PAC and Musk of violating Pennsylvania's laws against illegal lotteries and deceiving consumers. Despite Krasner's attempts to cancel the raffle, Musk and the PAC group have continued to hold it daily, including this morning.

Elon Musk, known for being the founder of SpaceX and Tesla, has fully committed to supporting Trump in this election, claiming that civilization is at stake if Trump loses. The prizes come from Musk's political organization, which seeks to boost Donald Trump's presidential campaign, for which he has allocated more than $70 million to the super PAC.

The case has been brought before a judge in Philadelphia for consideration, despite a motion filed by Musk's lawyers to move it to federal court. Larry Krasner, Philadelphia's District Attorney, has described Musk and America PAC's actions as brazen and is proceeding with the hearing to cancel Musk's daily one million dollar raffle in several contested states.
