According to the latest data, the number of victims of the medical helicopter crash, which transported a Mexican girl from a hospital in Philadelphia, has increased to seven people, while the number of injured has reached 19 people, officials reported in a news release.
The medical helicopter flight ended tragically on Friday night when the aircraft crashed into a residential home in the Levittown area. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
One of the eyewitnesses, who lives nearby, shared his impressions: "I heard a loud noise and went outside to see what happened. When I saw the fire, I immediately understood that a real tragedy had occurred."
Among the deceased and injured are both children and adults. Rescuers worked at the scene of the incident all night, providing assistance to the victims and trying to extinguish the fire.
