This Friday, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, expressed his sorrow upon seeing a plane crash in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The plane, a small medical evacuation jet with four crew members and two passengers on board, crashed in a residential area of the city, causing the loss of "innocent souls."

So far, the mayor of Philadelphia, Cherelle Parker, has mentioned that they do not have specific information about the number of fatalities resulting from the accident. According to reports from Fox News, at least six people have died, while ABC6 refers to "several dead."

According to CNN, citing the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and police sources, there were six people on board the crashed plane, including a minor who was the patient being transported. Parker reported that several homes and vehicles were affected after the aircraft impacted the residential area.

The aircraft, a Learjet 55 with a Mexican registration belonging to the air ambulance company Jet Rescue based in New Mexico, crashed shortly after taking off from Philadelphia International Airport en route to Springfield, Missouri. The accident occurred around 6:30 PM local time.

The incident generated a significant deployment of emergency teams in the affected area. Although the causes of the incident have not yet been determined, witnesses reported an explosion followed by fire and smoke at the impact site, near an intersection in northeast Philadelphia.

It is noteworthy that this tragic accident occurs just days after another aviation incident in which a military helicopter collided with a commercial plane near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, claiming the lives of 67 people on board both aircraft.
