The company dnata, a leading global supplier of aviation and travel services, has introduced the "Stantsia Zavtra" at the Orlanda International Airport. This innovative project implies the integration of advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency and service quality. The station includes electric ground support equipment, digital solutions for passengers, a high-tech baggage handling system, advanced telematics systems, virtual training, and other innovations.
One of the key features of the project is dnata's transition to a fully electric fleet of equipment, including cargo loaders, tugs, baggage trolleys, and conveyors, to ensure a high level of ecological efficiency. This transition contributes to the company's global sustainable development and aims to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2030.
The new station also presupposes digital solutions along the entire passenger journey, including convenient check-in kiosks and baggage drop-off points, as well as systems for managing conveyors to minimize waiting times. dnata will also implement a high-tech baggage handling system, utilizing a single digital platform for optimizing operations.
As noted by David Barker, the regional managing director for the Americas at dnata, the company sees the opportunity to invest in Orlanda, where dnata's headquarters in the USA is located, and create new jobs. Partners in this project include Lufthansa Group, Oshkosh AeroTech, Evitado Technologies, and AVIAR.
The innovative approach realized in the "Stantsia Zavtra" aims to enhance efficiency, safety, and ecological productivity, enriching the passenger experience. dnata plans to expand this model across its 22 locations in the United States, improving industry standards nationwide.
