Yesterday, US President Joe Biden presented a warning from the era of political changes. He expressed concern about the concerning trend towards nationalism and the increased attacks on democratic institutions around the world, warning that democracy is at the brink of dangerous erosion.
"In general, democratic institutions are under greater strain in our world today; it is very important that we and other countries understand that we are at the edge of this dangerous abyss," he said.
He also stated that the US is ready to become a leader in the world again, to help preserve democratic ideals.
