Donald Trump has appointed 27-year-old Karoline Leavitt as the new White House Press Secretary, making her the youngest to hold the position in history. A former campaign spokesperson, Leavitt has an impressive background in communications and political science from Saint Anselm College. Despite her past congressional run, she has proven her effectiveness in political communication through various roles.

Karoline Leavitt, 27 years old, becomes the youngest person in history to hold the position of White House Press Secretary. Prior to this appointment, Leavitt served as a spokesperson for the Republican campaign.

Leavitt comes from a middle-class family involved in business in the state of New Hampshire. She studied Communications and Political Science at Saint Anselm College and interned at Fox News, as well as in the White House press office during Trump's first term.

In the political arena, she secured the Republican nomination for New Hampshire's first congressional district in 2022, although she did not win the general election against Democrat Chris Pappas.
