Ben & Jerry's Accuses Unilever of Hindering Support for Palestinians

Ben & Jerry's ice cream company has filed a lawsuit claiming that its parent company Unilever obstructed its attempts to express support for Palestinian refugees.

The company Ben & Jerry's submitted a request, claiming that its parent company Unilever was preventing it from expressing support for Palestinian refugees. According to a company spokesperson, Unilever told them they were scheduled to block the release of a new flavor of ice cream called "Peace Pop," which was supposed to be launched for sale.

"We believe that business should be used for good and to support those in need. We gathered to present this new flavor to express our support for Palestinian refugees and to raise questions about their rights to return," stated Ben & Jerry's.

Ben & Jerry's, specializing in producing ice cream, is distinguished by its active social positioning and regularly supports various social initiatives. Unilever, the parent company, has not yet commented on the allegations.
