National Guard Member Sentenced to Prison

In the United States, one of the employees of the National Guard was sentenced to prison for a term of imprisonment.

An American pilot who served in the National Guard was found guilty of criminal conspiracy. The court sentenced him to three years of imprisonment.

According to the investigation, the pilot planned to join a group that Pentagon considers extremist. During a search of his home, weapons and materials related to the production and use of explosive substances were discovered.

The court process drew public attention and sparked discussions about security measures within the armed forces.

"This conviction sends a clear message that participation in extremist groups will not be tolerated in the U.S. Army," noted the prosecutor.
