US, Japan, South Korea Hold Talks on North Korea

On Thursday, the United States, Japan, and South Korea held telephone discussions following the actions of North Korea.

Representatives of the three countries discussed the situation created as a result of actions by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. During the conversation, the parties confirmed their common position regarding the actions of North Korea and reached a decision on further cooperation and coordination of efforts to support stability in the region.

"We discussed the gravity of the current situation and the joint actions that we can undertake in response to the provocative behavior of North Korea. We expressed a common commitment to these actions and reaffirmed our determination to protect peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula," the representatives of the three countries emphasized.
