A recent poll conducted by the Wall Street Journal showed that former US President Donald Trump, the candidate from the Republican Party, is leading over his Democratic opponent Kamala Harris with a margin of 47% to 45%.
The poll included 1,500 registered voters, surveyed from October 19 to 22, with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.
"According to the poll results, Trump is currently ahead of Harris in the primary race," stated a representative from the Wall Street Journal.
These data reflect the sentiments of voters in the run-up to the upcoming elections.
