U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondy announced on Friday the arrest of one of the participants in the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012, which killed the ambassador and three other Americans. Bondy said: "Bakous will now be tried before the American judiciary on U.S. soil." Bondy and FBI Director Kash Patel, during a press conference, refused to reveal the place of his arrest, saying only that he is "abroad." The minister said that the suspect, Zuber Bakous, was arrested and transferred to the United States, where he faces several charges. This terrorist will be prosecuted under the maximum penalties provided for by law.
