In the final episode of her podcast "I.M.O.", former First Lady Michelle Obama revealed that she was not always the patient mother the public imagined. She spoke about the difficulties of raising two daughters while her husband, former President Barack Obama, was often away on official duties.
"When Malia was seven and Sasha three, I kept trying to get them to go to bed," Michelle recalled. "I was constantly trying to convince them to shower, but they wouldn't listen."
On one particularly challenging night, she shouted in frustration: "No one listens to me, and I'm tired of being your mom." This moment led her to understand the distinct personalities of her daughters more deeply.
"Malia said, 'No, Mom, I can't do that without you,'" she added, feeling a sense of relief that her presence was needed. "Sasha just sat on the floor watching everything, then carried her blanket and went back to the TV as if saying, 'Thank God'" — she concluded the story.
