Trump insists on his proposal to open the government after no agreement was reached in the Senate

Washington, Nov 9. U.S. President Donald Trump is insisting on his proposal to give citizens the money from Obamacare so they can choose their own health insurance, after an agreement was not reached in the Senate to end the federal government shutdown, which entered its 39th day today. 'Enough money, hundreds of billions of dollars for the Democrat-backed insurance companies because of the bad Obamacare!' he indicated on his Truth Social account. The president, who also opposed the health program during his first term, published his proposal on his social network ahead of the start of the Senate's first session this weekend. Democrats are conditioning the extension of Obamacare health insurance subsidies, which expire at the end of the year, on their support for the measure to end the paralysis. The Republican majority (53), which claims this would benefit undocumented immigrants, needs votes from the opposition bloc (45) for the proposal to pass with the necessary 60 votes. 'The money must now go directly to the people, taking out the insurance companies that have fed on the corrupt healthcare system,' he reiterated. 'Let's make America great again,' 'End the parliamentary obstruction!' he indicated. The Senate will meet again tomorrow, after the president demanded on Friday that it remain in session until an agreement is reached to reopen the government, as the shutdown has begun to have negative effects with flight cancellations and on the food stamp program, on which 40 million people depend.
