
US President Donald Trump confirmed his readiness to continue providing humanitarian aid in the form of assistance to Palestinians in the Gaza sector. He announced this during a meeting at the White House on Monday.
In his statement, the president pledged to continue efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza sector, calling on all sides to go for a compromise in order to achieve peace in the region.
"We will continue to help the people of Gaza, ensuring them humanitarian assistance, especially in the area of food supply," noted Donald Trump.
Trump also expressed readiness to support any efforts aimed at achieving stability and peace between Islamic Hamas, which controls the Gaza sector, and Israel.
"We see the problem and are ready to do everything in our power to help achieve peace," added the head of the White House.
