Trump Urges Apple to Abandon Diversity Policies

U.S. President Donald Trump insisted that Apple should completely abandon its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies, and not just their posturing. During a meeting of the company's shareholders, it was suggested to change its position, however, the holders of the shares themselves recommended rejecting this proposal according to the corresponding center.

The majority of Apple’s shareholders in the secondary market rejected the proposal of the national center for studying public policy, a conservative think tank, which called for the company to abandon its efforts in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Researchers believe that these programs expose the company to legal, image, and financial risks.

"Apple must always rid itself of the rules of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and not just modify them," Trump wrote in the middle on his platform, adding that according to his opinion, these policies led to the emergence of "equity gaps" and inequitable treatment of people.
