Former U.S. President Donald Trump accused Joe Biden's administration of having spent 350 billion dollars on a war that, in his opinion, should have never started and is impossible to win. According to Trump, the United States has disbursed 200 billion dollars more than Europe in this conflict without getting any benefits in return. Additionally, he questioned why Biden did not ask for a greater contribution from European countries, arguing that the conflict is more urgent for them than for Washington.
Trump also pointed out that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has managed the financial aid received inadequately, stating that "he admitted that half of the money we sent him is 'missing.'" He suggested that Zelensky might be prolonging the conflict to continue receiving economic support. Furthermore, he insisted that only his administration would be capable of negotiating an end to the war with Russia and blamed Biden and Europe for not succeeding in their attempts to achieve peace.
In a post on Truth Social, Donald Trump strongly criticized Zelensky, calling him a "dictator" for not calling elections in Ukraine.
