The Arab League condemned the statements of US President Donald Trump, which, in their opinion, propagate the scenario of forced migration of Palestinians. This is seen as unacceptable both at the Arab and international levels. The league's secretariat also stressed that such an approach contradicts international law and poses a threat to stability, not contributing to the achievement of a peaceful resolution and ensuring security between Palestinians and Israelis.
**"The importance of the Palestinian issue remains a precondition for a comprehensive Arab agreement, not subject to modification. One of the key principles is ensuring the Palestinian people’s legal rights for the establishment of an independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital,"** the official representative stated.
The Arab League also stressed that the West Bank and occupied Gaza together form the territory of the future Palestinian state within the framework of a two-state solution, without separating or diminishing the rights of Palestinians, whose rights to remain on their land symbolize their just struggle.
**"Factually, relying on the goodwill of the United States and their president to achieve a just peace in the region, we still believe that the proposal expressed by President Trump seeks to propagate the scenario of forced migration of Palestinians, which is rejected by the Arab and international community, and contradicts international law,"** they added, emphasizing that this proposal serves as a source of instability and does not contribute to achieving a resolution on two states, being the only path to establishing peace and security between Palestinians and Israelis.
