Trump Proposes Iron Dome Defense System Similar to Israel

President Donald Trump plans to issue an executive order for a new defense shield inspired by Israel's Iron Dome to protect the U.S. from missile threats. The system aims to enhance military preparedness against ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles.

Trump Proposes Iron Dome Defense System Similar to Israel

Israel's Iron Dome is an anti-missile defense system designed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems LTD. This system has been described as the most deployed in the world, with an effectiveness of over 90 percent. It is designed to protect Israel from ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, rockets, and other aerial threats.

The technology of the Iron Dome allows for the identification and distinction of missiles that pose a threat to urban areas, intercepting them with precision. It consists of interceptor missile batteries, radars, and command systems that analyze and track potential impact areas of enemy rockets.

In response to escalating threats, U.S. President Donald Trump has announced the manufacturing of a defense system similar to Israel's Iron Dome. According to the White House, this measure aims to accelerate the production and delivery of new systems to track and intercept incoming missiles and neutralize potential attacks.

The manufacturer of the Iron Dome, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, along with Raytheon, has worked on developing this system capable of intercepting weapons launched from a range of 4 to 70 kilometers. Although the U.S. already has missile defense systems, it is deemed necessary to implement a "next-generation" defense shield to face threats such as ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles.

The executive order prepared by President Trump aims to establish a long-range defense shield, protecting the country from potential attacks. This new defense system is expected to prevent the catastrophe of a ballistic missile attack and ensure the security of the U.S. against external threats.
