Trump emphasized that companies involved in the deal with TikTok should pay a "fair price" for the application. He also added that part of the sum should go to the US Treasury due to its involvement in the deal.
It is reported that Microsoft is one of the candidates for the purchase of the Chinese application for video sharing. Additionally, Trump expressed hope that the deal process will be completed within the time frame set for his administration's actions.
