According to three Israeli officials, the white house lifted a ban imposed by the administration of former President Joe Biden on the delivery of 2000-pound bombs to Israel. This decision, sources stated, was widely expected and was made due to the concerns about the possible consequences of using such bombs during the war in Gaza.
"We are grateful to the USA for the support and partnership. This is an important signal of support for Israel in a difficult time for us," said one of the Israeli officials, commenting on the resumption of bomb supplies.
