Trump Finds Biden's Letter in Oval Office

After completing his term in the White House, outgoing U.S. President Donald Trump discovered a simple letter from his predecessor Joe Biden. The letter was found in the drawer of his office desk, and, as is traditionally the case with transitions of administration, it was directed to number "47", which symbolizes the position of the 47th president of the country.

Before setting the letter aside, Trump expressed the thought that, possibly, everyone would be interested in becoming acquainted with its contents. Then he added that it was necessary to read the letter personally before making it public. Addressing the journalist named Peter, who posed the question to him, Trump expressed gratitude and said: "Thank you, Peter... Possibly, I might have needed quite a few months to find it."

Usually, since 1989, U.S. leaders leave written messages for their predecessors. Just like other presidents before him, Biden wrote a simple letter for Trump and left it in the drawer of the Oval Office desk before leaving. According to the initiative of one of the journalists, Trump discovered the letter and in the process of searching confirmed its existence.

While signing a series of presidential decrees, American President Donald Trump was asked by a journalist if he had received a letter addressed to him from Joe Biden. Responding, he said that "possibly" he was headed to his desk for further searching, inviting those remaining to wait for further developments.
