Buenos Aires, April 1 (NA) — The President of the United States, Donald Trump, affirmed this Wednesday that with the launch of Artemis II, the spacecraft with which the United States will orbit the Moon again after having completed missions to that destination in 1972, “we are winning, in space, on Earth and everywhere: economically, militarily and now, beyond the stars”. A few hours before the spacecraft's launch, Trump tweeted that “tonight at 6:24 p.m. EST, for the first time in over 50 years, the United States is returning to the Moon!”. “Artemis II, one of the most powerful rockets ever built, will launch our brave astronauts further into deep space than any human has ever reached,” emphasized the U.S. leader in a message posted on the Truth Social network, accessed by the Argentine News Agency. “We are winning, in space, on Earth and everywhere: economically, militarily and now, beyond the stars. Nobody comes close to us! The United States not only competes, it dominates, and the whole world is watching,” he added. Trump concluded his message to the rocket crew: “God bless our incredible astronauts, God bless NASA, and God bless the greatest nation that has ever existed, the United States of America!”. The crew is composed of astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen, all of them with extensive experience in space travel.
