The projection includes land and air travel and reflects an increase compared to previous years, driven by the recovery in consumption and domestic tourism. As reported by the Argentine News Agency, part of this movement was reflected this Saturday with the intense activity recorded at airports such as San Francisco's, where thousands of passengers circulated through the terminals. Land travel predominates AAA anticipates that the majority of trips will be by car, although a record number of domestic flights is also expected. Authorities have recommended planning travel, especially on interstate routes in the south and west, where historically the highest congestion is recorded during the Christmas holidays. Pressure on airports The main airports in California and New York reported a higher volume of boarding and additional security measures.
