Last Thursday, it was announced that American golfer, Tiger Woods, underwent surgery due to a tear in his left Achilles tendon. Woods sustained this injury during his recovery for the upcoming Masters tournament in Augusta, which he was scheduled to participate in after being sidelined since July.

According to sources close to the negotiations reported by the French Press Agency, former American President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have been in talks to produce a documentary film about Tiger Woods. Amazon MGM will handle the project after acquiring the rights to the documentary about the 49-year-old star.

The Higher Ground company was established by Barack Obama and Michelle to produce documentary films and podcast programs. It is anticipated that the company will participate in producing the documentary film about Woods. Director Rinaldo Marcos Green, who produced a film about the siblings Serena and Venus Williams, is believed to be in charge of directing the film about Tiger Woods.

The film is expected to focus on the athletic successes that Tiger Woods achieved in his professional career, without concentrating on his personal life and past relationships that were highlighted in the media in 2009, which led to his divorce. Woods has won major championships in golf 15 times, making him one of the greatest players in this sport of all time, and the first black player to win one of these championships after winning the Masters in Augusta in 1997.
