One of the fire protection commanders said: "It was a very intense day, with multiple fires ignited due to heat and winds." Significant efforts are being applied to extinguish the flames and prevent their spread to populated areas. Currently, extreme safety measures are being adopted to protect people and property.

About 370 fires have been contained in the area with burning. Authorities have reached out to the population with a request to remain vigilant and follow instructions in case of evacuation.
