But a closer look at these numbers reveals a very different story, one the president doesn't want told. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the economy lost jobs in six of the past fourteen months. These numbers angered Trump last June when the monthly report showed a drop of 20,000 jobs, leading him to fire the Bureau's Commissioner Erica. Let's start with the latest jobs report, which showed the U.S. economy lost 92,000 jobs in February. Of course, this isn't the first time. However, most of the economic indicators he cites do not support this claim.
