Musk aims to save money through a fight against corruption and waste. He stated that his goal is a large economy. Musk's plans focus on reducing certain programs, which he considers a waste of money; however, these programs represent only a small part of the federal budget, and the economy from them constitutes less than $7 billion.
Despite the removal of corruption, Musk is still far from achieving his ambitious goals regarding expenditure reduction. He is facing serious challenges in successfully implementing his plan. For example, a significant reduction is expected for thousands of government employees, and "Dodge" is preparing for radical measures, such as staff cuts, although it does not have the necessary legal authority for this.
