Trump's Trash Truck Arrival at Rally Sparks Controversy

At a rally in Washington, Trump arrived in a garbage truck in response to Biden's comments about his followers. This bold move reignited political tensions ahead of the upcoming elections.

On Wednesday, former U.S. President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump made an unusual entrance to a rally. He arrived in a garbage truck and appeared on stage wearing a reflective vest, in an apparent attempt to highlight the criticisms made by Joe Biden about his supporters.

During the rally in Wisconsin, Trump referred to his supporters as people who are not "garbage," as Biden had suggested in a previous comment. Biden's criticisms, which were later clarified as being directed at comedian Tony Hinchcliffe and not at Trump's supporters, prompted an immediate response from the Republican side.

In his speech, Trump took the opportunity to mention that Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris, had finally expressed what they really thought about their supporters. Additionally, the former president noted that the idea of arriving at the rally in a garbage truck came from a member of his team, in a comment that aimed to highlight the relevance of the term "garbage" at that moment.

Meanwhile, Biden humorously responded to the criticisms, mentioning that he accepted wearing the reflective vest because he was told it made him look thinner. He pointed out that the situation, while light in tone, was a serious matter and that no job was too dirty for real Americans.

Currently, polls show that Kamala Harris leads in voter intention with 48%, while Trump closely follows with 46.6%. Despite Harris's advantage in some key states, such as Michigan and Wisconsin, competition is very tight in others like Pennsylvania, according to a recent CNN poll.

With the elections scheduled for November 5, the contest between the two candidates is intensifying, showing a tight and expectation-filled electoral landscape.
