
The U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, who is also the National Security Advisor and acting director of Usaid, among other positions, made a funny statement during the gala of the Hispanic Leadership Institute. Before the audience, Rubio mentioned that he could take on the role of surgeon general, humorously pointing out: "I wanted it, do you know they give you a uniform if you're surgeon general?"
Additionally, Rubio mentioned that he would find it interesting to be the librarian of Congress, in a joking tone. Despite his humorous remarks, it was confirmed that he will not take the position of director of Public Health of the U.S., as President Donald Trump announced that he will nominate Casey Means for that position.
In a recent interview, Rubio, born in Miami, humorously shared that he has no intentions of running for pope, as he is happily married. During the award ceremony, Rubio expressed words of thanks in Spanish for the leadership award received.
