Trump's Valentine Message: Deportation Warning

On Valentine's Day, the Trump administration issued a stark warning to migrants, emphasizing that illegal entry will result in deportation. The message was delivered through social media, accompanied by images of Trump and border czar Tom Homan.

The Donald Trump Administration sent a message to migrants for Valentine's Day, where, along with a greeting for the day, it directly warned that anyone entering the country illegally will be deported. "Roses are red, violets are blue, come here illegally and we will deport you," expressed the White House on its official Instagram account.

The shared image had a pink background with small hearts of the same color in a darker tone and included the faces of Trump and his border 'zar', Tom Homan. Additionally, the U.S. Presidency wished a "Happy Valentine's Day" in its message. Since January 20, this has been in the hands of the Republican leader, who during his electoral campaign promised to carry out the largest deportation of undocumented migrants in the history of the country, with Homan in charge of implementing his policy.

As part of this hard line, Trump has increased military presence at the border with Mexico, authorized arrests of migrants in schools and churches, and begun using military planes to repatriate individuals without legal status. Even the Guantanamo Naval Base (Cuba), set up by the U.S. to detain suspects of jihadist terrorism after the September 11 attacks in 2001, has been used to send some migrants there.

U.S. media have reported that more than 100 migrants, all Venezuelans, have been sent to this military facility. The Republican administration assured that it will send there exclusively "the worst," a categorization that includes violent criminals and gang members.
