Initially, he proposed the candidature of this person still during his first term, but due to the dissemination of information about his personal past activities, he had to withdraw his candidacy.
In 2017, Trump took on a job with Andy Paterno, who led the company owning the restaurant chains Hardee's and Carl's Jr., in the position of Secretary of Labor. However, it turned out that he had hired illegal immigrants as workers and did not pay taxes on their income, which forced him to resign from the position.
