Aircraft Collision at Seattle Airport

On Wednesday, February 5th, news was reported about the collision of two airplanes at Seattle International Airport, United States. The aircraft involved were from Japan Airlines and Delta Airlines, and the incident occurred while they were maneuvering on the runway.

In the widely circulated images, it can be seen how the pilot of Japan Airlines failed to correctly calculate their position while passing by the landing strip and ended up impacting the "tail" of the Delta airplane. Passengers who were boarding the Delta airplane had to be evacuated due to the collision.

Despite the shocking appearance of the accident, initial reports indicated that there were only material damages and no serious injuries were reported among the passengers. However, several witnesses on the Delta airplane shared their impressions, mentioning a loud bang at the rear when the collision occurred.

Emergency teams at the airport acted quickly following safety protocols to prevent additional risks, including the possibility of a fire. Maneuvers were carried out to separate the airplanes and free the Japan Airlines airplane that had been left situated at the back of the Delta airplane.
