Authorities reported on Tuesday that Robert Dorgan, identified as a 56-year-old man who also went by Roberta Esposito, shot and killed his son and ex-wife before taking his own life. Police Chief Tina Goncalves identified the deceased as Aidan Dorgan and his mother, Rhonda Dorgan. She added that three others, including the young man's grandparents and a family friend, were critically injured. The incident occurred during a youth hockey game at an ice rink in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Goncalves stated that the family was there to watch one of their children play in a tournament. The shooter had a specific 'target' and approached the family members individually without any prior altercation or dispute. Several bystanders tried to stop Dorgan after he began shooting, but he then used a second pistol to kill himself. A GoFundMe page created by the victims' family confirmed the identities of the deceased and is seeking donations to help the two orphaned siblings of the young victim.
