In the 2025 Club World Cup, 32 teams will participate and it will take place in the United States. The date for the group draw has been announced, which will be held on December 5, 2024.
Conmebol has six guaranteed spots for the tournament, three of which already have owners: Palmeiras (2021), Flamengo (2022), and Fluminense (2023). The fourth spot will go to the winner of the current edition, and the remaining two will be determined based on the overall ranking of Conmebol, based on the performance of the teams between 2021 and 2024. River and Boca secured two of these spots through ranking.
The 2025 Club World Cup will take place in the United States from June 15 to July 13 of that year. So far, 31 teams are confirmed to participate, including clubs such as Chelsea, Real Madrid, PSG, River, Boca, among others.
