American boxer Ryan Garcia has agreed to a challenge from British Conor Benn for an upcoming bout, following Benn's victory over veteran Regis Prograis by knockout in the tenth round. Garcia wrote on his account on the X platform: «Conor.. Boom», before adding: «I'm ready. But the fight won't go past the sixth or seventh round because his team will ask the referee to stop it, remember my words». Benn is expected to take on this challenge after earning around 11 million pounds sterling from his last fight on Saturday, amid the absence of an official agent, after signing with Zuffa Boxing platform, which is temporarily run by Dana White. This comes after Benn's split from his manager Eddie Hearn after a 10-year partnership that turned into public disputes, reaching the point of threats of lawsuits, after Benn denied receiving financial loans of 550,000 pounds sterling from him. Hearn also denied other accusations of failing to support the boxer during a doping crisis that led to the cancellation of his previous fight against Chris Eubank Jr. Garcia vs Benn, let's make it happen.
