Trump Proposes Bombarding Mexican Cartels

The Republican presidential candidate for the United States, Donald Trump, has reiterated his stance of attacking and "bombing" Mexican cartels as a measure to stop fentanyl trafficking and control migration. In an interview with Fox News, Trump, alongside his running mate J. D. Vance, affirmed his intent to carry out military actions against drug cartels in Mexico.

In response to whether he still considered bombings as an option, Trump categorically stated that he did, emphasizing that Mexico must resolve this situation quickly. The Republican candidate blamed the cartels for the loss of Mexican lives and for affecting American society through fentanyl trafficking, a priority drug for the U.S. government.

Additionally, Trump expressed his firm stance regarding migration, indicating that Mexico will have a short timeframe to control its border, otherwise, measures will be taken. For his part, J. D. Vance backed this view and mentioned that it is necessary for President Trump to seriously address the cartel issue, as it represents a threat to Mexico.

Despite recognizing Mexico as an important partner, the vice presidential candidate considered the neighboring country as a state controlled by cartels, stating that these criminal groups have significant political influence in the nation. In this regard, Trump concluded that the cartels run Mexico, emphasizing the need to address this problem urgently.
