Vice President Kamala Harris stated she believes Donald Trump is a fascist, recalling comments by ex-chief of staff John Kelly that raised concerns about Trump's admiration for Hitler. Kamala Harris Calls Trump a Fascist Amid Allegations

Vice President Kamala Harris expressed her opinion about Donald Trump, referring to him as "a fascist." This comment arises from statements made by John Kelly, former chief of staff to the ex-president, who claimed that Trump praised Adolf Hitler and placed his personal loyalty over the Constitution. Kelly, a retired Marine Corps general, indicated that Trump suggested that the Nazi leader did some good things.

Harris took advantage of Kelly's remarks in interviews with The New York Times and The Atlantic to point out that Trump fit the definition of a fascist. During a public CNN meeting, Harris stated twice that she believes Trump is a fascist. Additionally, she warned that if Trump were elected again, he would be a president who admires dictators and acts like a fascist.

In response to these comments, Trump labeled Kelly's claims as fabricated and hurled insults at his former chief of staff. Trump's campaign denied the accusations and accused Harris of spreading lies and brazen falsehoods. Despite Kelly's statements, some Republicans like Chris Sununu continued to support Trump.

Kelly revealed that he tried to counter Trump's praise of Hitler by reminding him that no action by the Nazi leader could be considered good. However, Trump occasionally revisited the topic. These accusations arise at a crucial time, as the presidential election is near, and Harris emphasizes that the United States deserves a president who respects certain ethical standards.

Kelly's claims add to previous criticisms of Trump, who has been accused of making disparaging comments about the military. These observations made by a former close associate of Trump highlight the type of leadership the ex-president exhibited in the White House.
