Last week there were elections, the results of which are considered one of the most tense in modern history of the USA. Candidates actively contested for every vote from the electorate, and the total number of votes turned out to be one of the most contentious and divisive.
One of the candidates stated: "These elections were for me a test and an opportunity to promote my country's traditions and people. I am grateful to all who supported me and promise to apply all efforts to improve the lives of every citizen."
The opponent of the candidate called the elections "a real challenge for democracy" and stated that he respects the decision of the electorate, even if it contradicts his beliefs. "It is important that the voice of each citizen is heard, and I hope for the prosperous future of our country," he noted.
