Yesterday, on Monday, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Amos Hochstein, stated that open adherence to the decisions of the UN Security Council is key to peace and security. He also emphasized that the U.S. is focused on ensuring that all countries will adhere to the decisions of the UN regarding Iran, Syria, and North Korea.
Hochstein also noted that threats to Ukraine continue due to Russia and its aggression. He called on the Russian Federation to fulfill its obligations in accordance with the Minsk agreements and to prevent violations. The American representative emphasized that maintaining peace and security in this region is a priority for the U.S.
"A commitment to openly adhere to the decisions of the UN Security Council is key to peace and security," - said Hochstein.
