US President Donald Trump announced that he will meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Davos on Wednesday, on the sidelines of his participation in the World Economic Forum. However, Kyiv denied Zelensky's presence there. During his speech at the forum, Trump addressed the war in Ukraine, announcing that he would meet Zelensky on Wednesday, «perhaps he is in the hall now». However, the Ukrainian presidency told journalists that Zelensky «is currently in Kyiv». Speaking about Ukraine, Trump believes that NATO and Europe should «take care of Ukraine», not the United States. The US President said: «What does the United States gain from all this work, from all this money, except for death, destruction, and huge sums going to people who do not appreciate what we are doing? They do not appreciate what we are doing». He added: «I am talking about NATO, I am talking about Europe».
