The President of the United States, Donald Trump, indicated that his administration will withdraw the National Guard from Chicago, Los Angeles, and Portland, a few days after the Supreme Court of the United States ruled against the administration.
«We will be withdrawing the National Guard from Chicago, Los Angeles, and Portland, despite the fact that CRIME has been greatly reduced by having these great patriots in those cities, and ONLY for that fact. Portland, Los Angeles, and Chicago would have DISAPPEARED if not for the arrival of the Federal Government,» Trump posted on Truth Social.
«We will be back»
The head of state continued: «We will be back, perhaps in a very different and much stronger way, when the crime starts to rebound again».
He also described the mayors and Democratic governors of such areas as «very incompetent,» according to a Xinhua report accessed by the Argentine News Agency.

The announcement came a few days after the Supreme Court blocked Trump's plan to send the National Guard to Chicago to protect officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Trump asserted that it is necessary to deploy the National Guard in these Democrat-governed locations due to the increase in crime, while Democrats questioned the political reasons behind such a measure.
