In the context of the new order, Trump noted: "We are not providing support and are not financing American organizations that promote or represent abortions abroad." Thus, resources were simply halted that represented several American organizations, including the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) and the Development Assistance Program. With regard to foreign abortions, Trump emphasized that his administration "is conducting a strict policy against the promotion of abortion."
