Residents of South Texas have approved the overwhelming idea of creating the Starbase community in the state, as a private settlement for SpaceX employees.
"This is an exciting news!" - stated Musk after the voting took place. "We thank all the residents who supported this project."
The new community will be located near the closest SpaceX facility and will be designated for housing employees and anyone affiliated with the company's activities.
Creating such a private settlement will improve the working and living conditions for SpaceX employees, as well as optimize the working process and control the quality of the work performed.
