U.S. authorities have introduced mandatory requirements for Canadians who have been on their territory for more than a month to register their data with the authorities.
If a Canadian remains in the U.S. for more than 30 days, they will need to provide their data for security and control purposes. This decision was made to improve monitoring and ensure security at the border between the two countries.
"This is a necessary measure to ensure security and control over the presence of foreign nationals on the territory of the U.S.," noted a representative of the Ministry of Internal Security.
